Australia & India: Australia tightens student visa rules for Indians

Australia has moved India into the highest-risk category for student visas and tightened scrutiny for Indian applicants, citing emerging integrity risks. The new classification took effect on January 8, 2026, after India was shifted from Evidence Level 2 to Evidence Level 3 under Australia’s Simplified Student Visa Framework.

US: USA expands list of countries subject to bonds for visitor visas

South Korea: Tuition hikes likely for international students, may come to twice that of domestic students

US: Harvard’s international students enrolment hits record despite Trump's strict rules

Türkiye: Türkiye government scholarships for international students, 2026-2027
